Our story
In 1971 the Lerakis family decided to create one of the first avocado groves in Crete (Chania). The mild subtropical climate of the Cretan land and the particular characteristics of the area, made that grove successful. The annual production of that grove is more than 5 tonnes per year and is used as the main material of our products.
43 YEARS LATER
After 3 years of research, AVOEL Company developed a product line based on fresh avocado, giving to the consumers all the beneficial elements of the fresh pulp in a variety of flavors following the Cretan - Mediterranean Diet. AVOEL products can replace food products based on powders, on artificial colors and on saturated animal fat.
